~Catching Up~

I have been on a bit of a hiatus, more like a... my life has completely changed and I need to catch up with myself sabbatical.  But I had the pleasure of photographing some great families at the end of 2016 that I just have to post about.

It was fun to photograph this fall wedding.

I always appreciate returning customers, The Lerviks, partly because I have a chance to see how the kids grow and change.  It's fun to hear children say your name in the little voices.

Another family, The Hoff family - enjoying the fall leaves and apples... many apples...

I am happy to have the opportunity to see another newborn only a week after birth.  They are always stretching me because they are so precious and helpless but adorable.

And last but not least, a new beautiful family from a referral (thanks Marit).  You gotta love when the sun comes out and brightens your day!

The not so new addition to the family is growing "so big"....

Little William is adorable, and might just have been the best child I have ever photographed.

Sorry guys, but this child deserves an award.

They are a beautiful family, hope you enjoy the photos.

Not all ideas work for all children, they are not cookie cutters.  Prime example below.

I so enjoy photographing this lovely family over and over again.  

Every year Justin & Marit give me this great opportunity to follow their family around,

and I get to call it work.  

Henry, the big brother, feels like he is my little buddy when I see him.  

Soren is definitely a stubborn, free spirited little boy, but so precious.  

Love their personalities and uniqueness.

I think this is one of their favorite photos.
